Thirty days. No questions.
If Guard is not what you hoped, ask for the money back. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to prove you used it little enough.
The whole policy
Any purchase of Guard may be refunded within 30 days of the charge, in full, once. That applies to both the year plan and the lifetime plan. No forms, no “please rate us first”, no restocking fee.
How to ask
- Reply to the receipt Creem sent you when you paid (subject line works; they route it back to us). This is the fastest path.
- Or email hello@neverfarapp.com from the address you signed up with. “Refund please” is enough of a message.
- Wait a day or two. It is one person reading that inbox, not a queue.
What happens next
- The money goes back the way it came — to the card or account you paid with, through Creem. Bank timing is typically 5–10 business days, and that part is not ours to hurry.
- Guard goes back to the free plan when the refund is processed: one guardian, ten minutes of transcription a month.
- Nothing you wrote is touched. A refund is about money, not about your notes. Your records, letters, cards and guardians stay exactly where they are, and export stays free.
- If you were on the year plan and it simply ran out, that is not a refund case — the plan ends on its own and nothing renews. You keep everything you wrote.
What we will not do
We never charge you again without you asking. There is no auto-renewal here: the year plan ends when it ends, and the lifetime plan is charged once. If you ever see a second charge you did not intend, write to us and it is refunded — that would be our mistake, not a policy edge case.
Who handles the money
Creem is the merchant of record: they take the payment, handle sales tax, and send the receipt. That is also why the refund goes back through them rather than from us directly. Card details never reach our server — we never see them and could not store them.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before you call your bank. A chargeback costs the small merchant a fee and a mark, and it takes longer than just asking. If we have done something wrong, we would rather fix it in an email.
